My dogwood tree is about 1 year old and has little clusters of blooms on it now. Is it supposed to do this?

Dogwoods bloom in Spring! And they are beautiful. Lucky you!

Yes, they will flower in the spring. I have a white one. It gets red berries on it in the fall that the birds and squirrels really enjoy.

There are a lot of different types of Dogwoods. You may have a Kousa Dogwood, which flowers later than the florida Dogwood. Can you post a picture of it?

My dogwood doesn't have the big white blooms that come in spring, it has little white bunches of flowers now but it looked like little berries when they started coming on.
