Cigarette smoke stains

My parents had some beautiful black and white etchings that are now mine. However, they were heavy smokers and although the prints were framed, the smoke penatrated and gave them a yellow cast. Is there any way of removing this stain?

Hi Madeline! What are the etchings on? Removing 'stains' from archival papers and such is very different than regular paper. Let us know, so we can perhaps help a little better. xo

Thanks, Lynn! I will check out the site. Sia@South 47th - The prints were obtained from the artist in the early 1950's. I really don't know what type of paper would have been used.
