DIY Storage From Recycled Christmas Tins

I needed some storage containers for coins and nuts & bolts so I made use of some old Christmas tins!

    I love this idea. My question is "what did you use for your lettering"? I have several of these tins and a whole lot of macrama rope. Thanks for the idea.

      It looks like the letters are foams letters that you can pick up at Micheals or maybe the dollar store.

      You could also use chipboard letters like those used for scrap booking

      We have one that our son made when in elementary school (now a professional with an insurance company and 40+) that was made from a juice can. It still looks good and has been in use since made in our kitchen holding pens/pencils.
