What can be done to a tub that someone spray painted and it is peeling?

Sounds like someone took the budget route and had the tub reglazed <?> If so, sadly your only option is to strip it again .. but research seems to indicate it will be a temporary fix (again)

You need to call a tub re-finisher to remove the old coating and re-do it. CP
