Fiddle Leaf Fig repotting question

I bought a Fiddle Leaf Fig at Lowe's a couple months back. He is in a 6 in pot and doing amazingly well with three new leaves already. He gets a lot of afternoon sun in the living room and seems to like it so far. My question is, how best to repot him? What soil mix is recommended? I have looked on line but have found many different recommendations. Anyone have personal experience? He appears to be in a peat mix of some sort now. I love the Fiddle Leaf and I am excited he is doing so well. Thanks for any help.

I do think you could use any good potting mix from your local garden center, Michelle, but I would not be too quick to re-pot, as they like to be slightly crowded in their container.
