Sweet Mason Jar Flower Catcher to Put Flowers From Your Kids

Does your little one or ones proudly present you with a weed bouquet that they are so proud of and picked just for you?! My sweet boys do this daily now that the dandelions are in bloom :) I LOVE when they give me flowers, but never knew what to do with them, so i would stick them in a vase or on the counter to dry and then they collected in a tupperware container, because I couldn't bare the thought of tossing them :(
They were picked with love just for me! So I came up with a solution, a way that I can display their dried flowers proudly without taking up counter space or tupperware, haha.
Items you'll need:

1) Mason Jar

2) Chalk paint

3) Cut out of a daisy (I drew mine myself)

4) A board cut to the size you like (this one is poplar wood, isn't the grain pretty)

5) a Ring clamp (pick up in the plumbing section of your local home improvement store)

6) An eye hook

7) Varnish or sealer of your choice
First I clean the jar with rubbing alcohol, once dry I held my daisy cut out and chalk painted the jar, let dry and coat again. Distress when dry if desired. Varnish or seal the chalk paint on the jar, if you get any on the clear part, it creates a cloudy finish, i cleaned up with water and a paper towel. I attached the ring to the board with a 3/4 inch screw. Fit the jar on and tighten the screw on the ring. Attach the eye hook to the top of the board so that you can hang it. I wrote my saying with a sharpie and just varnished over it so it doesn't fade. :)
I hope you enjoy my fun little project :)

Not crafty or short on time, no worries, I've got you covered, I have these for sell on my facebook site along with many furniture flips and other designs :)

This is the sweetest idea ever! Takes me back to when I used to pick flowers as a little girl for my mom!

Thank you @Hannah V :) I know it meant the world to her, just like it does for me when my babies do it for me. I have 4 more flowers to add to my jar from today :)
