My mystery plant has flowers... :D

Last fall I posted a pic of some bulbs that had shoots coming up in November. While we had many suggestions on what they may be, we decided we would have to wait to see if/when they flowered. The leaves went dormant through our mild winter and continued growing again as spring approached. Now we have flowers, finally. I am sure many of our knowledgeable gardeners here will be able to easily identify it for me. In addition to identifying, I would like to know if their appearance in the fall with flowers in the spring is normal or did they somehow come up at the wrong time?
This was the pic I posted last fall.
And here are the first flowers! Pretty!

I have tons of this! Mine is a pretty blue but I recently saw one that is a beautiful purple. I was wondering what it is too!? My problem is I would like to have itin another part of my garden than where it is. But it won't grow just 10 feet away. I guess its the soil
