Upcycled Potholders Made From Old Jeans

This is a quick easy project for making potholders out of old jeans.
I used a pair of my husband's old jeans to make these cute potholders with finger protectors.
I designed the pattern so you won't have to deal with thick layers going through your sewing machine. This piece is the main body. The denim liner is attached to the main body.
These are the finger protectors They are assembled.
Then you just stitch the finger protectors to the main fabric.
Here's an action shot.

These pot holders work great! I've pulled many casserole dishes out the hot oven without feeling the heat.

What I love most about this tutorial is you don't need any special heat resistant batting. You just need a pair of old jeans and a small piece of accent fabric.

The link to your blog does not work. There’s lots of info missing about how the finger protectors are made.
