Putting a runner on staircase with turn platform

So we've redone our staircase but really want a simple runner to protect the staircase and to make it safe for our family to walk up & down.
Need advice on how to do this project with unique turn & the best place to buy most durable yet nice (but not too fancy) carpet runner.

There are carpet tiles for stairways,instead of using a full runner.

You can have a full runner installed or just a tread carpet which just attaches to the stair tread top snd not the riser. Two different looks. Ask for some advice at your local home improvement store.

This really turned out nice. I love the black and white with the gray walls. How bout a nice snow leopard runner?? lol. I know. I'm the only one that likes that.

I wouldn't do treads.. they can be trip hazards and typically don't stay put.. If you need a runner (for safety or dogs, etc) I would do a full runner as you had planned. The change is pretty and dramatic!

I would do tread's. Installed mine two years ago and love them. We have 2 teenage boys, a large dog and 2 cats and I haven't had anyone trip!

The stairs look fabulous. I didn't want my stairs covered but I did need something so everyone would stop slipping on them. I found these amazing stair treads on www.solutions.com they wash beautifully , have a variety of colors and don't need anything to keep them down. Good luck
