I love changing the look of antique furniture! And this is what I did with these nightstands

Mexican embroidery is very fashionable these days. I wondered what they would look like if I painted a mexican pattern instead of embroidering?

I printed a suitable pattern from the web.

Transferred to doors, already painted white.

The result is just what I wanted! Pretty for a modern and cheerful room!

    Very very lovely-what kind of copy paper? where did you find it from? carbon paper? from Office Depot? Michaels? can you give more? & what kind of paint did you use? did you seal it afterwards? with what? thank you! (I have a coffee-table & am trying to figure out how to transfer my design to it-I've no idea what I'm doing!:)

      You can use graphite paper, very inexpensive, and found in the art department of Hobby Lobby.

      I searched Pinterest for Mexican embroidery patterns and chose this one that seemed very suitable, but there are hundreds!
