Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, period. I have worked with architects for years and have yet to find any two that agree with each other about how something looks. So is it nice or is it not? That would depend on the person doing the viewing. Architecturally speaking all structures remain in some state of controversy as not all architects will agree with each other. Personally this just looks like another chunk of steel and glass to me, like so many others I have been involved in. Yeah the shape has been altered but given time and money anything can be made to look anyway someone wishes for it to look. That said it is just another building to me.

I'd say its a contractor's nightmare. Perhaps the architect was an over-achiever? I agree with Paul ~~ beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
