Moving Mountains.....My Coat Closet Makeover

5 Materials
This closet started out as such an eye sore! It was basically a place to stash stuff I needed to deal with! After a few simple projects, it's fun to see and helps keep me motivated to keep it tidy.
So no kidding...here's what I started with! I would throw all the clothes my baby outgrew in this closet, vowing to get them organized and donated in the near future!
The first step.....obviously, I needed to get rid of all those baby clothes!

Second step was to give the closet a coat of paint.
Third step was to make an outline of mountains with painting tape.
Next up, I printed off a verse that I loved and added it to the wall (tutorial to come soon.)
Lastly, I made this coat rack out of branches. I love that it fits into the "mountain theme" and that is was free! You can for the branch coat rack tutorial at the bottom of our post on the blog.
Now, I have an awesome closet space! This is on out main floor and we use it a lot, so having it look great is wonderful motivation to keep it clean and organized. .....plus, it just makes me happy!

I didn't see how to make the coat rack. I would love to make one. I'm sure you have to do someon something to the stem sticks to coat them and what did you use to hold them to the wood?

I would love to know how you did the quote. I want a favorite verse in a wall and have no idea how to do it
