Chop, chop, Chop and pull. That is how I have gotten rid of mine. I had so much it was growing up alot of my trees. I found if I chop it and then pull it will give up a large runner. It will take some time, but we have almost gotten it all out of the trees. Then my husband took the lawn mower and raised it to the highest setting an mowed over the rest of it.
