Transplanted Perennials From Old Home to New Yard - Weed Control

In November of 2012 I planted bulbs to start - sorry no pics from the results. Actually move in started gardens at the base of front trees, the side of the garage and driveway. I love perrenials because; they spread, propogate themselves, eventually growd out weeds, (at least til the fall), add color, texture, interest to our otherwise flat nad boring landscape. Already, neighbors stop to chat and make comments on how nice things look. I just smale and say - wait 'til next year.

This was the toughest. Tree roots, moss, crab grass. Uncovered 6" of driveway. Added Compost & Peat then planted, Bulds, Sedum, more Hosta ( of course). Stone crop, Bell flowers, St Jos. Tears, Lillies, yellow bells & Irises, too.

This all will look fabulous when it all blooms! I love your under tree planting mix! Astible, bleeding hearts...two of my favorite shade perennials...I hope you post photos of bloom time! And...I LOVE hostas...I'd love to see them when they leaf out! Great job!
