What to do with candle jar lids

I have over a 100 candle jar lids. The glass ones that are domed. I need some ideas what to do with them.

those a similar in shape to my old electric line glass insulators-i nested mine in decorative glassware using glass pebbles, added a votive candle. made a very solid base and i don't have to worry about the pets knocking it over.

They would make great knobs for dressers or glue them onto a piece of wood for a coat rack or on the ends of dowels for curtain finials, or on a tray for handles or turn them over on a battery candle as tiny lights in centerpieces or whatever. That's just off the top of my head. Find a glue that dries clear.

Use as mini bell jars. I used one to frame a small cross stitch piece that I mounted on cardboard. I glued them together then glued felt to the bottom for a pretty paperweight. You could do the same with a photo.

Decorate each one individually. Use as game pieces for a oversize board game. Use in a fairy garden.

I used some for carpet protectors under my dinning table legs they work great. But do raise the table a little for us that was something we needed anyway.

The tea light candles came to mind, also tiny Easter baskets for decorating, glue Christmas ornaments to them for decorating or after the ornaments glue to circle for wreath, or send me a bunch (smile)

I use the flat ones right on my stove to melt scented wax squares. When the scent disappears, pop the he lid in the freezer, and then wax will come right out and the lid is ready to use again.

Battery tea lights under the lid, scatter around a room or patio on tables for simple lighting.

The ones I used are very thick glass and would not break very easily. They work really well I have had no problems

I use them for small jewelry, since I can see through them I know what is where. I glued them to a board, then put a lid that covers the tops.

I would use them on the garden plates - gluing different dishes together to make beautiful garden decorations. Google 'garden plates'. Wish I had them from you!

You could hang them from trees with twine but add sand and the tips of a solar light first. :) Or you could put the sand and solar lights in them and line your front porch steps.

They can be a fairy garden pond, or hot tub. Dig them down into the soil leaving only a sm area of the top out. Surround them with some greenery, fill them with water. Even a dot of food coloring to color your water. But you have many. That's just for 1. I really like Clare Hickey 's idea. Put a tea light in each, place them all around your pool area or your patio, for a party or romantic evening. Beautiful way to set the mood. You could even paint some of them to give them the sea glass effect.

I use them instead of votive candle holders I use anything so they sit straight,like small short mason jars or make your own holders useing clay and paint them useing chaulk board paint in bright colors, even the kids wanted to make them!
