Stand-by home generator
We live in the southern part of the U.S. and are going to buy a stand-by generator to supply emergency electrical power to our home. Our outages occur mostly in the summer when the temperatures are 90-100 degrees and the humidity is 95%. Loss of power lasts a few hours 5-6 times a year. Major outages average 4-5 days once a year. We are trying to decide if we should buy a liquid or an air cooled generator. Local suppliers are split about 50:50 with their opinions. What do you suggest?
