Michele Spencer on May 26, 2013Depends on what you like! If you are going to restore it, it is a lot more work--you have to strip off the old paint, then stain (if you want to change the color) and protect, with varnish or polyurethane.Helpful Reply

Andrea H on May 26, 2013yes, i would be a major project because there are many "cutouts" and nooks/crannies. Right now it has the shabby sheek look ... but it matches nothing in the house. But maybe thats its charm. I just dont want it to look bad.Helpful Reply
