Transforming a Country Room

For the last 5 years, I have known how I wanted to transform this country den. In February, 2016, I finally bit the bullet and got started. Since this will take a long time, I thought that I would share my progress.
I started by removing wallpaper.
I painted the top walls grey and the bottom white, and then started adding the rails and stiles.
I use this rustoleum ultra cover white on the wood because it covers well, dries quickly, and washes well. The rails and stiles are actually MDF boards that come primed from Home Depot.
I still need to sparkle holes and gaps, repaint, and add a top piece. I want to router the top piece, so I finally have a reason to buy the router that I have been wanting for some time!
I also need to change out the electrical outlets and switch to white.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Hi ho silver grey satin Olympic paint (Lowes)
- White satin wall paint mixed to match Rustoleum Ultra cover white semi-gloss (Lowes)
