They seem disorientated and rather aggressive. They attack our screen door (one at a time) and try to get in the house.Never seen anything like this in 8 years of gardening out here.

Hi Trish, I don't, but Walter Reeves who does, posted this today. I think you will find it very helpful in getting rid of them: http://www.hometalk.com/154411/carpenter-bee-trap

Sounds like you may have Africanized bees in your area. Contact your local Wildlife Conservation Department 775-728-4476/4233 and they should be able to help or recommend assistance.

Thanks for the answers, but I'm still hoping for more ideas. Not Carpenter Bees Miriam But Thank You.No one has returned my call from the conservation dept yet.The bees seem More attracted to Men.They Drive the guys Crazy when they are on the porch. But they seem to leave me alone when I'm outside working on the garden.Weirdest Thing I've ever seen.

I'm Being told These are Gee bees.A By Product of the Mad Scientist at Monsanto.Beware! They do NOT Act at All like Honey Bees Should. They Act Almost DRUNK or Disorientated. They Have Completely Disappeared from the yard for Now.My Guess is.I Have Nothing Growing in My Yard with The Monsanto touch to it.100% organic Stuff REALLY Freaks them out. Thanks for your Help and Suggestions.
