Vintage 60's Step Stool Gets a Makeover

I needed a kitchen stool and found this worn out 1960's step stool at a yard sale for 10 dollars. I was able to give new life and with a few simple steps. I love how it turned out!
I have tall cabinets in my current kitchen and really needed a step stool. I had a hard time finding anything cute in the stores and I really wanted one like I remember my grandmother use to have. Finding one at a yard sale was my best option. And at 10 dollars you can't go wrong. But it did need some dressing up.
I started the process by removing the old worn vinyl from the seats and adding fresh fabric.
I used spray paint to give the frame a new clean look
It came out really sweet. Click on the blog link below for the full tutorial and story.

What brand, type of glue did you use? My step stool is not as nice. It has button thingy's to hold the treads into the metal base and I just broke several of them off. Thank you.

You glued the fabric to the stool front? I tried that with a similar stool and it came out horribly... Idk what I did wrong.
