I love my split cedar fence, is there something else that looks rustic to replace it ?

Someone in our neighborhood has an inter-woven branch fence kind of like this, and there are more on this page: http://www.tallcloverfarm.com/242/i-built-a-fence-that-fell-from-the-sky Might be a little TOO rustic for most tastes.

I don't know how to do this. I have never actually seen anyone at the house when I've walked past, but on their fence, they seem to have a set of thin metal posts, and thin branches are basically woven between them.

Wattle and Latilla are a couple that come to mind. We just got back from a visit to our cabin near Taos NM.
