Natural Wreaths...spring Spruce up in the GA Mts!

I love a pretty entrance to both my front and side doors of our home but hate to spend money!
The dogwoods are blooming!
I begin with the first signs of spring and head out on the property to gather whatever is blooming. Today I am gathering dogwood branches for my vine wreath.
Here you can see where I place fresh dogwood branches to the left of the large wreath by the door, along with leaves from my much loved 40' magnolia tree.
Each week I walk through the woods and look for "natural" plants and vines to decorate the wreath by the door. Visitor's are always greeted with a new variety of flowers and leaves when they walk up to our home.

So don't spend money on those tacky fake flowers at the Dollar Store. Get out and walk around your home and use whatever you can for your Natural Wreath. Enjoy the first days of spring, Jo Wilmer
