Handpainted Herb Pot (perfect for Mother's Day)

Mother's Day is just around the corner. I wanted to help my Grandloves make a gift for their mother that she could have as a keepsake. But, not something she would tuck in a drawer, but something she could leave out year-round and be reminded how much she is loved. I decided I would help them craft a cute Herb Pot where they could personally leave their "stamp" on.
I started with a basic terra cotta pot and dish.
I used two coats of red craft paint.
Here was the fun part... I let my three Grandloves stamp their handprint on the side...
I used a white Sharpie Paint Pen to add their name and age. Want to see how I finished this project? Hop over to The Everyday Home Blog to see the extra accents I added. It looks sooooo cute sitting next to my Farmhouse sink that I think Grammy may have to make one for herself. :) Please follow the link below to see the finished project.

I'm looking for unique and DIY gift for my mom on Mother's Day, I think she will like this because she likes herbs and plants.
