I have very cloudy car head lights what is best to use to clean them?

We use Deep Woods Off. Spray it on a clean soft cloth and clean your lenses until they are nice and clear! Works great!

Rub plain not gel toothpaste onto the lights and rub with a soft cloth.

I ordered a Turtle Wax product from Amazon.com that cleans and seals. It's been great. It lasts longer than toothpaste.

Toothpaste is OK for a short-term solution but there are proprietry products out there especially formulated for this task. In the long run, they don't really cost much more. There's also loads of stuff around the home that can be used. Soot, for example, is a mild abrasive, some fish skins, Brasso (maybe just a UK product?), T-cut tooth powder (eucryl, arm and hammer etc) etc. However, end of the day, do it right, do it once.

The headlight products you buy for around $10 works great. Plus it is multi uses too. FYI go to Ebay (or Amazon) and see how much replacement headlights are. I have switched to LED lights too in other vehicles (and saving up for that in my 99 Expedition) which do not cloud up and you can see while driving at night with LEDs. But the I tried the toothpaste thing- what a waste of toothpaste in my opinion. I live in a state where inspections are mandatory so the headlights need to be clear- so the headlight products work much better!

Best results I've had when done at the garage. Dealer charged 80 and they were like new. Garage did for 20 and they were decent. Have not found any shelf products that worked that well. Was worth the money. Instead of wasting money on "trying" things. Like The Garden Frog said replacements are best. No more cloudy lights:(
