A non-skid door mat could do this easily. You could also install no-skid traction strips. like these http://www.kofflersales.com/p/anti-slip-abrasive-tape.asp?itemid=3729&gclid=CLuH_or6wrcCFco-MgodIGkAXA I have used the "stair tread" size individual pieces. But they also make various sizes of "tape".
