Repurpose Old Kitchen Chairs

When we were getting ready to move, I wanted to throw out our old kitchen chairs. They were in my "donate" pile. My husband wanted to hang on to them, and he transformed them into a beautiful bench for our new home! I am so glad he didn't let me throw them out but instead figured out a way to recycle them!
beautiful new bench for our foyer created from 3 ugly kitchen chairs!
Our old kitchen chairs that I wanted to get rid of! So gross!
My husband reinforced the legs with screws and wood glue to attach them to create a bench.
He used wood filler to cover the screws.

Really a great idea, I have two I would like to use but no handy husband.

@Jan Nelson I'll bet you could do this yourself, or get a handy husband of a friend to make it for you! I'm sure I could do it and just might for a bench on our porch. If my husband sees me working on it, he'll want to finish it for me (or do it all).

Thanks Gladys, right now I have a terrible cold and don't feel like doing much, but if I get to feeling better I may get my grandson to see if he can help.
