I want to grow wave petunias in planter boxes. How many for each box?

The boxes are each 24" to 30" long and about 7" deep and 7" wide. I have 7 boxes. Is one plant for each box enough?
How many wave petunias for each of the rectangular railing planters? These have 4 regular petunias in each.

I don't have the answer to your question, but I did want to comment on how beautiful the area is. Some additional pink petunias would finish it off really nicely.

@Valerie Thank you! I look forward to my flowers each spring/summer. One year I grew mostly white flowering plants and it was pretty but I love color. I will add more pink petunias, thanks for the suggestion.

I would add more than one plant if you want some interest to your containers.

One will do it, but will take several months to fill out. You may want to add something to fill in for the immediate future. Maybe pansies or other that can then be transplanted elsewhere.

I'm planting the wave petunias one to each planter but with faster bloomers to fill in, as suggested. Thanks!

What a beautiful garden! I'd have a hard time doing anything but sitting there enjoying it all!

With that length of box 1, alone, will not spread length wise. They really fill out though. I'd put 2 in & center them out towards the ends evenly. I'm sry , but did you say it will be ONLY petunias? I love the wave, but adding some green fill ins sure adds depth & color. Well, you know... look at your gorgeous flowers!
