Horchow Inspired, Lamp Makeover

I enjoy shopping second hand stores and finding treasures I can use in my home. In the past I have found so much and saved a lot of money. Of course there are times when I walk in and find nothing, but on a recent trip I was genuinely surprised by the selection. I found this pineapple gold leaf lamp. What immediately caught my attention was its unique appearance. After doing a quick search online I found a similar lamp priced much higher than the $20 I paid. The lamp online is brass, mine is not, therefore I had no problems painting over the finish.
I found the perfect lampshade at Target. Target Never Disappoints!
After taping the lamp off, I sprayed it yellow. No primer needed this time!
Yellow suits her so well!
I love this lamp with its new look. There's nothing better than finding used treasures then turning them into something new!

I love the lampshade and you’re lovely bright colours. I was hoping for a stencil tutorial in the shade! I’ll keep looking! 😊

Hi Jenny! Thank you so much for your kind comment. I purchased the lampshade that way from Target years ago.
