How do you treat leaf rollers on your canna leafs. They roll-up my large leaves like
a cigar? Any advise would be appreciated.

Dana, if you don't want to go the unroll-and-squash route, you could use Bt, Bacillus thuringiensis, a microbial insecticide. which is sold as a variety of products, but it is most effective against the larval stages of leafrollersTo lessen your chances of having a recurrence next season, make sure you do a thorough cleanup in the fall. Cut the plants to the ground, remove all the foliage and surrounding mulch and dispose of it in the garbage, not your compost pile. That should eliminate most of the caterpillar eggs that could over-winter in the old leaves and stalks.
