From Dirt Pile to Herb Garden
Did you ever have one of those spaces in your yard that is the eternal eyesore but last on the "honey do" list? Yup. This was that space. Other landscaping took priority, so this was finally the year to make it happen. We turned our little dirt pile into an herb garden. Some edibles, some whimsy, and ta-da - here it is!
This is the before. How many ways can you say dirt pile?
Some paint on the house, a new walkway, and some yummy herbs....
Rosemary and thyme are also planted. This space is just off the kitchen in the back of the house, so I wanted to include all of the herbs that are easy to grow, and that we frequently eat.
