Replanting My Iris After Dividing

Choose the rhizomes you wish to replant from what you dug up and separated.
Loosen the dirt
Sprinkle bone meal
Mix it into the soil a bit
Plant one or a trio
Enjoy your blossoms next season.

    Should I add soil to cover bulbs that have surfaced or do I need to dig them up and plant them deeper?

    some of mine have grown out over the top of my concrete sidewalk--what to do with that?

    no---the tubers are actually growing on top of the concrete and believe it or not do bloom--just not were I'd want them
