An Upcycled Window Frame Makes a Great Frame
As part of my One Room Challenge, I needed some art for my laundry room walls. My local architectural salvage store has a good inventory of frames and I knew what I was going to do with this one before I even got it home.
I washed the frame in a sink full of soapy water as it had accumulated many years of dust and dirt.
I have always loved the view 'from behind' of my two children as they strolled ahead of my husband and me on hikes or walks. When I could, I would snap a picture of my two sweethearts. Many of these photos were taken while we were travelling, but some were taken while spending a day at our local beach.
After rounding up some of my favorite photos, I had them reprinted in black and white squares, with a white frame which reminded me of the old Polaroid prints.
I used black photo corner mounts to secure the photos to the window pane.
