have any idea's for old barn wood. I have some 12" X 12' . I wood like to reclaim. Have planed some. grain is great but want to leave some natural

Yes it makes awesome frames for canvas art. It is also fantastic for word sayings. How much are you asking for a piece say 4' long?

This wood Is valuable to people for sentimental reasons. I would take some the natural wood, seal it with a clear sealant, frame it and make a name plaque for the front of your home or hang on a mental frame in the yard or garden. You could make a matching house number too.

That sounds cool. This sounds like just what I am looking for. I talked with Ed last night. (My partner) We'll take several different shots of the wood. Some have different colors, some with moss, etc. It sounds like we might be able to barter. Just your ideas are worth the wood. When I moved here(Vail) bartering was the way we all made ends meet. I once bought an aluminum boat for 6 and 1/2 pigs. Ill let you know soon. I might need to ask you to pay for the shipping

Plaques from old wood are great for inside as well. They can be scriped on, painted to match color scheme, cover one wall in a room-painted, stained or just sealed. I like the idea of the outdoor sign-actually all comments are good. I recently had a barn destroyed by a tornado and have plenty of barnwood!

I just made a 4 ft plaque out of a barnboard from our family's old barn with my last name on it for a heritage wall of 7 generations of pics! LOVE it!

I make a rustic table that everybody has loved, so I've made about 8 of them for family members. Its made out of 2x10s 42" long. I make a square using l brackets to hold the bottom together, and I screw the top 2x8 or 2 x10s down with torq screws. then I put big wheels underneath it, stain the whole thing walnut brown, I have made a 36" wide one for my grandson, who puts all of his gaming stuff on the bottom shelf, made one for my granddaughter who put her TV on it, everybody seems to love them. And I can go to my local lumber yard and they cut the pieces for me. top shelf is 2" lumber, (2) 2x8 or 2x10, for the top, the same for the bottom, and two end pieces of 15" to fit on the ends. I finally got smart and stained it all before putting it together, so I don't have little corners missing stain. they're fun to make . I couldn't find a picture tho
