I've had my peonies now for 2 yr. and they haven't bloomed except one out of the whole bunch. How do I go about this problem? Thank you.

Sometimes peonies take a few years to get started; however, you may have planted them too deep. The "eyes" should be just below the surface of the soil.

How large were they when you planted them? Are they all the same variety?

If you don't have it planted too deep, I think you just need to be patient. I had a peony that just grew and stayed green for the first three years it was in my garden. Year four came and it had 4-5 blooms. I wasn't sure it was worth keeping. Then it took off and this year it had 70 blossoms!

I would question the size of the plants when you planted them as well. Some mail-order peonies are TINY!
