I am having a hard time keeping the birds from pooping on my patio

any suggestions for keeping the birds from my patio furniture..I am afraid they are going to ruin my pillows

Hmmm.....not sure, but you might try a whirlygig? I think they make a bit of noise and the motion might cause the birds to go elsewhere. Just thinking out loud.

You could always try lattice work over the patio. Nice with flowering vines. Or, just putting some big bird feeders away from the patio might work.

or get some fake snakes, but move them around every few days....

oh yeah I like the lattice idea. I am hate snakes..but I guess birds do too...thanks a lot ...my retreat is suffering with bird poop

Hang little steamers of tinsel or tin foil. looks pretty but scares the birds.
