I have heard a few good things about a Rustoleum kit for refinishing laminate counters and sinks. There is a reference here, and some other suggestions:
The kits Steve refers to have been used by some other member here on home talk with some pretty good results.
personally as a tile contractor I would go a different route as these kits run $200 bucks or so....and when you are done its still "just a paint job"
I would either go with a ready made sink / granite top ...like this
or do some custom tile work. I have done a number of those over the years. Surprisingly the new granite top with the pre-installed sink cost a bit LESS than the paint kit and from and install and durability perspective, is much easier to go from A to B.
If you have a Habitat For Humanity ReStore (store) nearby they oftentimes have sinks &/or sink-countertops that are in terrific condition & at very much of a lower price than brand new.
