A Fun and Inexpensive Retro Collection...Clay Cookers

I have a secret...I LOVE clay cookers! I missed out on them the first time around in the 80s when I was busy with a new-born, so I am making up for lost time! I have found most of them for a song...under $5.00 at Goodwill. They add wonderful texture and a touch of whimsy to my home. And...I even cook in them! See more plus a recipe on my blog.

The one I bought in the past was called "A chicken Brick", Because of the soaking, the chicken comes out SO tender and moist, it's amazing. I once did one with a pastry seal. Even better!
