They say one man's trash is another woman's treasure.

I found this door in a construction dumpster and now it is the perfect message board to help keep me organized. http://www.thespacebetweenblog.net/2012/04/17/dumpster-dive-door-turned-message-board/
old door with 4 panels turned into a message board
one panel is a cork board, one a chalkboard, one a dry erase board and one a pin board

Petal Pushers! First, I'm originally from ME too!! Gorham to be exact, my whole family still lives in the area. I heart ME. :) And to answer your question, I can't imagine any surface you couldn't use this on. I do think you'd want to sand down a previously painted wall. But I'm actually going to try it on driftwood tomorrow, I would think it would work on wood, drywall, plaster. But, just to be clear, I haven't tried it so don't know for sure. Please let me know if you try it. :)

This whole wall is so clever. I have friends who are always wondering what to do with their corks.
