Georgia Dorlan-Shackelford on Jun 14, 2013I like having something organic in the warm months, so I went to a florist supply store and purchased one of the wreath forms that clip over a tombstone then attached a small oblong planter to the weath form with some screws and brackets. Planted with sweet potatoe vine and some pretty red and yellow annuals. In the fall, after the flowers are gone, I add some small grouds, etc for fall and then at Christmas, evergreen branches and shiny ornaments.Helpful Reply

KathrynElizabeth Etier on Jun 14, 2013I've just gotten my first jar of Outdoor Mod Podge so I can't vouch for the results, but I'm planning to decoupage and adding high contrast house numbers..Helpful Reply

Jane on Jun 16, 2013Please remember that spiders and insects can get into a mail box with vines all around it. Personally I do not want to stick my hand into the unknown! I used the end of my mail box to decorate. (The opposite of the opening.) I secured it with an 4" outdoor ribbon. Silk flowers for summer, greens for Christmas etc..Helpful Reply

Jane on Jun 20, 2013one can piece together fabric or buy out door ribbon, at least 6" wide, glue on silk or fabric flowers or any decoration you want. I would use silk fern with a few silk flowers for this time of year. I place the decorations at the opposite end of the mailbox so as not to impede delivery of mail. (It is against the law to put anything in the mail box not pertaining to the mail delivery or wrong mail delivery.)Helpful Reply
