Blue Agave in Georgia?

Answered

I live in a south suburb of Atlanta, zone 7b. I really want to grow some agave plants in my yard. Anyone have any experience in a similar zone?

Yes you can. There is one at a house I have passed by for 4 years that is about 3 times the size of the one in your picture, and I am north of Atlanta. I keep telling myself to get a picture of it because it is so awesome looking. This will give me the motivation to snap that shot!

A lot of people grow it here in central Mississippi and they are beautiful

They will get rather large, well at least they do in Southern Texas. I used to live in Ga and I had one in a pot that I would transfer indoors when it would get cold. They are rather hardy and would look beautiful in your yard. Hope to see a picture of yours soon!
