PA Antique Road Trip Finds- Part I

Oh hey, remember me?
Probably not since it’s been over a month since I’ve done a blog post.
Part of the reason are the two gimpy animals I’ve been taking care of.
Molly had a scheduled surgery for a torn ligament in her back knee (equivalent to our ACL) and a week after her surgery Ms. Kay got into something and needed to be rushed to the kitty ER.
They rocked the cone of shame together for a little while. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of the two of them in their cones at the same time, but I did get this gem.
Here she is, plotting my demise once her cone comes off.

Now that Molly’s stitches have been removed and Ms. Kay’s cone is off I was able to take a day off from the wonky animal hospital and go antiquing with my friend Jen.
Our first stop was an antique store in Adamstown, PA. I had good luck there the first time I went up, so I couldn’t wait to go back and see all the new goodies they had.

I’ve been looking for some old cutting boards in decent shape and one of the first booths had a bin towards the back of the booth with some sticking out. I snagged this bad boy for $5.00.
A couple booths down, I saw a ton of these hanging wire baskets.

In all different sizes.

It was awesome.

Like when you go to Chuck E Cheese and you jump in the big ball pit, that’s what I felt like doing in this booth. Except instead of balls, it would’ve been baskets.

I’m not sure how I was able to pull myself together and leave with just one, but it looks perfect on the chalkboard in my kitchen.

Aw sending love to Molly and Ms. Kay! What a pretty old cutting board- and for $5 a total steal!
