Someone put a plastic strip around my tub years ago. I think it was to keep from caulking. I'm trying to remove it and it has left a gooey, gluey mess with little plastic pieces everywhere! How can I remove it, please!!!???

Have you tried "Goo Gone" yet? It's great for taking off sticky residue on almost anything.

WD 40 works very well too. I woul put an old towel or rags along the bottom of the tub to absorb the excess. Also works well taking unknown spots out of carpets (saturate & blot until gone) then use hot soapy water to saturate it & blot again until residue is gone. Takes gum out of kids hair with no fuss as well. Good luck

There is an "orange" based product at most hardware store that works wonders.

I use vegetable oil to remove glue from bottles, may work for this purpose

I would try goo gone with a hair dryer to help soften the plastic so it would be easier to remove
