REMEMBER THIS DIY DISASTER?

For those of you who saw my disastrous attempt to paint vinyl with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and attempted to help or at least empathized, thank you, but I had to move on to plan B.
Oh no, my poor baby........
Plan B was always to recover it, so I did. I went fabric shopping and in a couple of hrs had the cover made. I just made it into a slip cover type so it can be cleaned if needed. I also expect I will be vacuuming up AS paint dust forever.
This was pretty easy to do but the colour does not read well in the pictures, it is a pale yellow tone in reality. This was also a quarter of the cost of the paint I used to wreck it in the first place. The material was $20 and the fringe was $20.
Enjoyed the project?

Is the bottom slightly elasticized, by the fringe? Great idea! It turned out really well! What did the fabric look like before you painted it with chalk paint?
