Harry Potter Nursery

For the spring 2016 One Room Challenge, we turned our guest bedroom into a magical navy, white, turquoise, and pink Harry Potter-themed nursery.
We started this project with what was essentially an empty canvas. We'd done almost no decorating, so it was really a matter of clearing the room and letting our ideas come alive!
With a lot of paint and elbow grease (and some pretty fabulous Harry Potter-themed accessories!) we turned it into the perfect space for our little girl (due in July).
That beautiful Hogwarts print is from I Love Print. Many thanks to AnnaLisa for generously providing it!
Another favourite touch is the framed map of the heavens from UncommonGoods!
One of our many DIYs for this room makeover was this wooden rocking horse, which was mine as a child. We gave its saddle and handlebars a snazzy new coat of bright pink paint!
The antique windsor rocking chair got a makeover as well, and now sits ready to be our cozy little feeding spot. Our navy focal wall got a sprinkling of starry decals.
Please hop on over to Flourish & Knot to see the FULL reveal!
