Upcycled Bottles Turned Into Treasures I Call Them Domes

I call these Domes, you can put a candle tea, votive or battery one under the dome, or tapered on top, I also use the larger ones to store cheese, chocolate etc under. Just put a cork on top and sit as center piece.
Hand cut Hand Etched out of Wine Bottle, I hand cut each bottle using a hot n cold bath method, then sand each one by hand, I try to use as many recycled objects as i can to decorate each

We tried the string thing too at a crafting event we had last Friday. They make it look so easy, but we must have tried at least 10 times & we tried rubbing alcohol, finger nail polish, lighter fluid & 3 different kinds of strings/yarns.. We finally got one to snap in half, but that was the only one & by that point no one could remember what we had done to get that one to break. We might not had been successful in breaking the bottles in half, but we sure all had a great time trying. :) Going to have to give this another go some day.
