Im having a problem getting my green beans and cucumbers to grow.

I have planted twice now, the first time i didnt get anything so i replanted 3 weeks later. its been a little over 2 weeks and out of 4 rows there is only 5 green bean plants and no cucumbers. Is it too late to plant again? Help please!!!

Without knowing what you did in terms of planting, it's hard to know what might have gone wrong, but Iowa State's extension service says you have up until August 1 to plant green beans, and until July 20 for cucumbers. Possibly you put your first crops in too early. Check out the calendar here: http://www.extension.iastate.edu/Publications/PM534.pdf
