I use them in my pantry to store sauce mixes, jello boxes, baking items, etc. They work great! I label the end of the boxes, so I know what's inside.

Thank you all for your time in giving me ideas for the shoe boxes. Before I saw all the great ideas I decided to use in my dresser draws. In one draw I used some to separate my girlie things (that are also stored in zip lock bags) so I can find the items easily. In another I used them to organize my many kinds of shirts. In two other draws I had to cut down to organize my night clothes, socks, nylons and so on. Thanks again. Happy Pinning.

I save them for Chritmas. Our church and many others fill showboxes with school supplies, socks, hygene items for shipment to third world countries. It is called Operation Shoebox, started by Franklin Graham. The boxes are collected and he aranges their shipment for children who do not have all they need.

shoe boxes are just the best storage idea ever and completely free - i have used them to make small play hampers for my grandchildren; covered them in sticky plastic and used them in my craft room: the larder idea is good too - you could also be very radical - cover them with wallpaper - photograph all your shoes and keep them in the boxes :-)
