Message Door Sign

I have a bunch on those cheap canvases from the craft store that I do not use for my art because I use media boxes. I took the canvas off of them. Then spray painted the frame. Next, I added a thin metal backing that I had painted with chalk board paint to the frame by glueing and stapling the backing to the frame. You can find a full list of materials and instructions on my project post. Link at bottom
Looks nice and my friends can leave me a message by using the chalk in the small plastic candy container I sprayed purple and attached to the frame with a screw
Frame after canvas was remove
Spray painted
Use staple gun and 6000 glue to attach to frame
Screw the tiny plastic container unto frame
Add clothesline rope to hang on door
Print you image and transfer using the carbon paper
Download my image from my blog & add your last name in WORD or just draw it in http://loveofdiy.com/diy-front-door-sign/
Hang on your covered porch door

Nicely done! You say you don't use the craft store canvases because you use media boxes? That has me curious.

Yeah, good point..... I work ..... when ups needs to leave a package I have a way to tell them to leave it on my porch. it is a covered porch so I have no need to worry about rain.
