We have to put/squeeze our boys, 7, 17, and 20, into 1 room move in. The oldest is only home summers. We currently have bunk beds and a trundle in storage that we can use. Any ideas to give the older 2 some privacy/ keep the little guy out of their stuff?

3 to a bedroom may not be legal, check local laws

When I was a kid my 2 brothers and I shared a bedroom. My mother attached a sliding curtain rack to the ceiling and with a curtain hung, the room was divided so I had 1/3 and my brothers shared the other 2/3rds.

I suggest that you get a bed which can slide under the bottom bed of the bunk beds, so that it is out of the way during the times when the eldest boy is not at home. I go along with Carole's idea of the sliding curtain track for privacy.

If the room is small you could decorate along the line of a train with each bunk having a curtain. Another idea could b to use a tent if space allows to make a fun space for your 7 year old. Good luck!

Built-in bunkbed with trundle. I agree with Mary about adding privacy curtains... I would also make the bunk bed extra long so each bed had a book shelf at their feet for "do not touch" items.
