French Provincial Dresser Makeover Before and After

2 Materials
This 60's drab French Provincial dresser received a makeover fit for a princess using Country Chic paint and metallic cream.
Before and After. This dresser began with a yellow high gloss finish. This paint goes on smooth and is self priming, requiring very little prep.
Before painting, I cleaned the dresser and sanded a few places where the original paint was chipping. Then, gave it two coats in Ocean Breeze from Country Chic paint.
Then spray painted the handles and embellishments with white.

Then to add a bit of bling, I gave the handles and embellishments a coat of Silver Bullet metallic cream from Country Chic paint.
I left just a little of the original yellow gloss showing through on the upper dresser drawers.
The dresser can now be sealed with wax or polycrylic
Suggested materials:
  • Ocean Breeze Country Chic Paint   (Silver Bullet metallic cream from Country Chic Paint)
  • White spray paint
